The last decade has seen rapid progress in clinical treatment and rehabilitation technologies for patients. Our programs use advanced rehabilitation techniques that increase strength and mobility for optimal functional recovery. In addition, our clinical treatment techniques have been shown to reduce pain and swelling while accelerating strength and mobility so that a healthy, active lifestyle can resume!
Our clinical treatments include:
Cardiac Defibrillator
A defibrillator is a cardiac resuscitation device that we always have on hand in case there is a cardiac emergency. Staff nurses and physicians are all qualified to use the cardiac defibrillation device.
EKG
Electrocardiography (ECG or EKG) is the recording of electrical activity in the heart over time via skin electrodes. The test generates a non-invasive recording produced by an electrocardiographic device. The measurement can be used to diagnose abnormal rhythms of the heart, especially those caused by damage to the conductive tissue that carries electrical signals, or by dissolved salts, such as potassium, that are too high or too low.
EKG machines help determine the overall health of the heart and can be instrumental in identifying life-threatening heart conditions.
IV Therapy
IV or Intravenous therapy consists of using liquids that are introduced directly into a vein. The treatment can be intermittent or continuous and is the fastest method for delivering pharmaceuticals to a patient. Some of the therapies that can be administered via IV are:
- Nutritional therapy
- Anti-viral therapy
- Anti-fungal therapy
- Pain management
- TPN management
- Hydration management
