Brittany Stresing is a certified Prosthetist and Orthotist and the owner of LimBionics of Durham.
Brittany was introduced to her profession at the age of 15 when she was diagnosed with several issues requiring orthotic care and surgery. She received her degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed her residency at UNC Hospitals. She then went on to manage a practice before starting LimBionics of Durham in 2013. Brittany has received multiple awards including the 2015 Woman of Achievement by Durham Magazine and the 2015 Healthcare Hero “Rising Star” by Triangle Business Journal. Brittany was also given the distinct privilege of being awarded the title of “fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists” which is the highest title and most elite group one can achieve in the profession. Brittany is the only fellow in the triangle area and one of only eight in the state. LimBionics of Durham provides the most elite and personalized prosthetic and orthotic care and prides themselves on treating each patient as individual while providing a warm and encouraging environment. Because of Brittany’s excellent work ethic and clinical skills, LimBionics is Brian Center Southpoint’s preferred provider for orthotic and prosthetic care through the Steady Strides program.
